Vacancies

SCWS performs challenging repertoire and so potential members should play ideally at Grade 8 standard. However, the emphasis is as much on artistry, musicality, and lyricism as technical ability and so capable players of a lower standard will be considered. There is no formal audition; rather, new members are given opportunity to prove their enthusiasm, commitment, determination, and drive to keep themselves and SCWS at the peak of excellence. 

With limited numbers required, a place may not be available immediately. However, applicants will be added to the “dep” list to be invited in the event of a vacancy or if additional players are required.
